Potassium polyacrylamide (K-PAM)

Summary: Potassium polyacrylamide (K-PAM) is a borehole wall stabilizer, which can inhibit the dispersion of shale and drilling cuttings, reduce water loss, improve flow pattern and increase lubrication.

Potassium polyacrylamide (K-PAM)

Product Features

1. This product is a non-toxic, non-corrosive and widely used borehole wall stabilizer. It can inhibit the dispersion of mud shale and drilling cuttings, reduce water loss, improve flow pattern and increase lubrication. It can effectively inhibit formation mud making and be compatible with various treatment agents. It can improve the rheological property of drilling fluid, effectively coat drilling cuttings, inhibit formation mud making and the existence of potassium ions, prevent hydration and spalling of soft mud shale and brittle & hard mud shale to stabilize borehole wall.

2. It has good compatibility with other treatment agents and can be used in non-dispersed drilling fluid and dispersed drilling fluid systems.

3. It has strong temperature resistance (≥ 180°C).
